I constantly have my head in the clouds or as close as I can get it.
I took this love and interest I have with clouds and translated it into a dual-purpose app to appeal to a larger audience.
The Challenge
Rainier is a dual-purpose application that is both a weather application and an educational cloud spotter. Viewers take pictures of different types of clouds and identify them. The weather aspect is a supporting role, where cloud tracking is the primary focus. The challenge here is to design an interactive application with cohesive icons and a strong consistent brand.

The Approach
To achieve this, the brand used striking colours and strong typography that supported the main content of the weather app and educational cloud spotting. The icons focus on the use of the cloud, to create a unified overall look, as well as reiterating one of the main focus of the app-cloud tracking.
